About the role
- Oversee telecommunications installation projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards through effective communication and planning with cross-functional teams.
- Conduct wireless surveys and validate connectivity to maintain system reliability, adjusting components as necessary to optimize network performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to install, repair, and upgrade cabling and telecommunication systems in compliance with technical codes and regulations.
- Inspect supplier installations for contract compliance, perform quality assurance checks, and report issues for timely resolution.
- Provide onsite training and support to technicians, enhancing troubleshooting and installation capabilities.
- Maintain compliance with safety, electrical, and federal regulations while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 2 years’ experience with data network connectivity.
- Proven experience in telecommunications network installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of networking hardware, including network switches, patch panels, and structured cabling systems.
- Ability to conduct wireless surveys and validate connectivity to ensure system reliability.
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local technical codes and standards, including FCC and National Electric Code compliance.
- Skilled in quality assurance processes and conducting inspections to ensure contract and regulatory compliance.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Commitment to safety, integrity, and continuous improvement in technical operations.
