About the role
- Provide an independent, enterprise-wide view of progress against Walmart’s highest-priority initiatives, grounded in data, KPIs, and cross-functional input.
- Partner with segment strategy teams and senior leaders across pillars to align on priorities, assess performance, and drive critical tradeoffs.
- Translate progress against goals into clear enterprise impact, ensuring alignment to both short- and long-term strategic objectives.
- Synthesize complex inputs into concise, executive-ready insights to inform key governance forums and decision-making.
- Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities across the enterprise portfolio, and recommend actions to improve outcomes.
- Influence senior stakeholders with fact-based perspectives and drive accountability for delivering on strategic commitments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related area and 7 years’ experience in consulting, corporate strategy, business development, or related area OR 9 years’ experience in consulting, corporate strategy, business development, or related area.
- Significant experience in corporate strategy, business transformation, or enterprise planning.
- Proven ability to assess performance against strategic priorities and translate data, KPIs, and business inputs into insights.
- Strong strategic judgment with a track record of navigating ambiguity, driving tradeoffs, and influencing decisions at senior executive levels.
- Demonstrated success partnering across functions and business units, including collaboration with senior leaders and strategy teams.
- Expertise in synthesizing complex information into concise, executive-ready materials that drive alignment and action.
- Ability to connect short-term performance with long-term strategy, ensuring focus on outcomes that matter most.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to act as an independent, objective voice.
