About the role
- Lead the enterprise strategy and portfolio process, setting priorities and ensuring alignment to Walmart’s most critical objectives.
- Translate strategy into a clear, actionable portfolio of initiatives with defined goals, KPIs, and value creation targets.
- Drive rigorous performance management, surfacing insights on progress, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership.
- Partner cross-functionally to align strategy with execution, ensuring integration across business units and functions.
- Lead high-impact, enterprise-wide initiatives from concept through execution.
- Deliver data-driven insights and competitive intelligence to inform key strategic decisions.
- Build and develop a high-performing team, fostering strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and execution excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related area and 8 years’ experience in consulting, corporate strategy, business development, or related area OR 10 years’ experience in consulting, corporate strategy, business development, or related area.
- Extensive experience in corporate strategy or consulting.
- Proven track record of leading enterprise-level strategy and portfolio management, translating strategy into outcomes.
- Strong executive presence.
- Deep expertise in strategic planning, prioritization, and performance management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and align business units.
- Experience identifying risks and opportunities and embedding data-driven decision-making into business processes.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, compelling narratives that influence senior leaders and drive alignment on complex strategic decisions.
- Ability to operate with ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong people leadership skills with a track record of building and scaling high-performing teams.
