This role involves analyzing complex security events, developing mitigation strategies, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance intrusion management processes.
Develop and refine standard operating procedures for intrusion management and incident response.
Conduct cyber risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend effective risk treatment options.
Utilize data analytics and visualization techniques to interpret security event data and generate actionable insights.
Oversee containment and recovery efforts for security incidents, ensuring alignment with organizational policies.
Drive continuous improvement of intrusion detection and prevention capabilities in a dynamic threat landscape.

Requirements

Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity or related area and 3 years’ experience in intrusion analysis or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.
Option 2: 5 years’ experience in intrusion analysis or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.
Extensive knowledge of intrusion detection, prevention, and cyber incident response protocols.
Proven experience in cyber risk assessment, mitigation strategies, and security information and event management (SIEM).
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analytics tools and exploratory data analysis techniques.
Ability to develop and implement standard operating procedures for intrusion and incident management.
Expertise in coordinating with stakeholders to drive effective cyber incident containment and recovery.
Familiarity with industry standards, compliance requirements, and evolving cybersecurity threats.
Demonstrated capability to lead cyber risk management activities aligned with organizational policies.
