About the role
- Implement the roadmap to address customer needs.
- Collaborate with cross-teams for seamless product delivery.
- Be the go-to-expert for product offerings, promoting our value proposition.
- Use insights from data to inform product improvements.
- Assess product performance metrics, identifying insights and implement improvements based on data-driven decisions.
- Fortify your connection with your customers to understand their needs to inform the roadmap.
- Map opportunities in user stories, flow diagrams, and wireframes.
- Organize the sprints, prioritize the product backlog, and provide clarity around requirements to the product development group.
- Communicate your product development progress to our organization.
- Define and document functional and non-functional requirements, track prioritization and own delivery of products/features through partnership with Engineering, Design and Data stewardship teams.
- Manage user acceptance testing of functional requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in product management.
- 5 years’ experience in product management or related area.
- 3+ years in product management, including 2+ years experience in the B2B space.
- 2+ years of experience in the retail industry.
- Experience working with sales, engineering, and account management teams.
- Experience working with international partners and managing communication challenges.
- Experience in launching customer-grade applications.
- Proficiency with data analytics tools such as SQL and BI tools like Tableau and PowerBI.
- Experience with data analytics and data science concepts.
- Experience communicating product updates, milestones, and progress to internal and external partners in writing user stories, mapping user journeys, wireframing, and creating workflow diagrams.
- Experience communicating complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences and translate them into business requirements.
- Ability to partner with global teams across different time zones.
- Experience communicating with customers where English is their second language.
