About the role

  • Develop a comprehensive business and tech solutions; leads and participates in medium- to large-scale projects by reviewing project requirements; translating requirements into technical solutions; gathering requested information; writing and developing code; unit testing; communicating status and issues to team members and stakeholders; collaborating with project team and cross functional teams; troubleshooting open issues; ensuring on-time delivery; interacting with project manager; providing leadership to the project team.
  • Work in small groups of six to ten engineers in software development and design; reviewing and approving proposed solutions; implementing new architectural patterns; performing design and code reviews.
  • Troubleshoots business and production issues by gathering information; formulating an action plan; performing actions as designated; interpreting results; root cause analysis to prevent recurrence; completing online documentation.
  • Provide support to business by responding to user's questions; identifying short- and long-term solutions; facilitating resolutions; leading cross-functional partnership.
  • Leads the discovery phase of medium to large projects to come up with high level design by partnering with product management, project management, business and user experience teams; obtaining cross-function approvals.
  • Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies to development, execution, and improvement of action plans; building commitment for perspectives and rationales; aligning with customer and business needs.
  • Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; improving opportunities; adapting to changes.
  • Lead automation efforts for multiple teams by working closely with developers to create automation roadmap; enhance build processes; debug build issues; integrate enterprise tool changes; define deployment gates and rollout processes; create reports and dashboards; educate team on automation, pipelines, reports, and processes.

Requirements

  • Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
  • Option 2: 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 1 year's experience in software engineering or related area.
