About the role
- Manage crisis events by coordinating responders and resources to ensure timely resolution and clear communication with stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships to enhance emergency preparedness and response capabilities.
- Conduct data-driven assessments of security risks to people, operations, and assets, recommending appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
- Implement and oversee security programs aligned with industry standards and company policies to protect business interests.
- Lead, mentor, and develop security team members, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and promote a culture of integrity and respect.
- Provide floor leadership for the salaried Crisis Managers and hourly Crisis Leads.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Emergency Management, Risk Management, Security, or related field and 1 year’s experience in security, emergency management, risk management, law enforcement, fire service, or related area OR 3 years’ experience in security, emergency management, risk management, law enforcement, fire service, or related area.
- Proven experience in crisis, emergency, and incident response management within complex organizations.
- Strong skills in risk assessment, mitigation, and security management aligned with industry standards and company policies.
- Ability to develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to support emergency preparedness.
- Demonstrated leadership in supervising, mentoring, and developing security teams to achieve operational excellence.
- Proficiency in leveraging technology and communication platforms for effective event coordination and reporting.
- Commitment to integrity, ethical conduct, and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Analytical mindset with experience conducting data-driven security risk evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives.
