About the role

  • Partner with product, design, and business stakeholders to understand associate needs, regulatory constraints, and business goals, translating them into scalable front-end solutions.
  • Lead the design and implementation of front-end architectures using React Native and React.js, ensuring high performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
  • Define and document UI frameworks, patterns, and standards that support consistency across global Time & Attendance experiences.
  • Build and evaluate proofs of concept (POCs) to validate new technologies, patterns, and user experience approaches.
  • Create and present architectural designs, prototypes, and technical roadmaps to engineering teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship, setting a high bar for code quality, testing, performance, and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate closely with backend, platform, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration, scalability, security, and reliability.
  • Identify technical risks early, anticipate challenges related to scale, localization, and compliance, and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Stay current with emerging front-end technologies, frameworks, and best practices, evaluating their applicability to People Tech and associate-facing systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area, or 8 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
  • Deep expertise in React Native and React.js, including performance optimization, state management, and component architecture.
  • Proven experience building large-scale, consumer- or associate-facing applications used by diverse, global audiences.
  • Strong understanding of front-end architectural patterns, accessibility standards, and responsive design principles.
  • Experience collaborating in distributed systems environments and integrating front-end applications with APIs and event-driven backends.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business and regulatory requirements into intuitive user experiences.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of influencing both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with experience guiding teams without formal authority.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
