About the role
- The (USA) Staff, Technical Program Manager leads the planning and execution of complex technology programs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and managing cross-functional dependencies.
- This role drives end-to-end delivery by coordinating stakeholders, resolving ambiguities, and optimizing processes to achieve scalable, high-quality solutions.
- Collaborating with technology and business partners, the team ensures timely and appropriate access while managing complex program schedules and resources.
- Define program goals, deliverables, schedules, and critical paths to manage multiple medium to high-complexity programs aligned with strategic objectives.
- Secure team commitments, manage dependencies, and resolve ambiguities to ensure clarity on end-to-end technology solutions.
- Monitor program progress, identify risks, and develop mitigation plans while managing budgets and resource priorities.
- Communicate program status, risks, and updates effectively to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Drive continuous improvement by proposing frameworks, tools, and automation opportunities to enhance program delivery.
Requirements
- Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related area and 5 years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area.
- Option 2: 7 years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area.
- Proven expertise in program management techniques, tools, and frameworks to lead multiple medium to high-complexity programs aligned with strategic objectives.
- Strong stakeholder management skills to secure commitments, manage dependencies, and align teams across technical and business domains.
- Proficiency in Agile methodology and communication tools to effectively convey complex information and drive consensus among cross-functional teams.
- Technical knowledge of system design, cloud infrastructure, APIs, and service management concepts to support end-to-end technology solutions.
- Analytical problem-solving abilities to synthesize data, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies ensuring program success.
