About the role

  • Plays a critical role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating cybersecurity risks within the organization.
  • Conducting comprehensive vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to safeguard network infrastructure and data assets.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to develop and implement risk management strategies aligned with corporate policies and industry standards.
  • Analyzing emerging threats and recommending security enhancements.
  • Ensuring compliance with established frameworks to protect organizational integrity and support business objectives effectively.
  • Reporting to the Director of Technical Controls Assessment and contributing to the assessment of solutions to be deployed across the Walmart enterprise while working with cross-functional teams and leadership.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Information Security domain.
  • Understanding of security frameworks (NIST, FISMA, ISO 27001, ISO 27002).
  • Experience in cloud technologies (Azure/GCP).
  • Understanding of technical architecture.
  • Hold an information security certification (CISSP, CCSP, CISM).
  • Have a customer-centric mindset.
  • Compliance experience (Privacy, SOX, HIPAA, PCI).
  • Strong leadership experience.
