About the role
- Lead the development and execution of short-term and long-term strategic financial plans for Walmart+, collaborating across business units to align on overall goals and priorities.
- Establish financial targets, identify and communicate risk levels, and provide actionable insights to drive business performance and deliver on key initiatives.
- Partner with senior leadership to analyze business performance, identify gaps between objectives and results, and drive alignment on strategic financial decisions.
- Present insights and recommendations to executive leadership, leveraging advanced financial models, historical trends, and forecasts to support decision-making.
- Deliver executive-level presentations and content for high-profile meetings, including Board of Directors, Executive Council, and investment community engagements.
- Support and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering mentorship, ongoing development, and leveraging the strengths of both new and existing talent.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with business partners and corporate support teams to execute strategy, report on key financial KPIs, and maximize both customer experience and shareholder return.
- Uphold Walmart’s standards of integrity and ethics, integrating these values into all financial programs and practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, with 7+ years of relevant experience.
- 4+ years’ experience in analytics, planning, business management, omni-channel merchandising, or a related area.
- 2+ years of experience supporting and influencing senior leadership decision-making.
- Advanced financial planning, modeling, and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, compelling presentations and actionable recommendations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across teams.
- High standards of integrity, accountability, and results orientation, with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
