About the role
- Support the development and implementation of an effective compliance program for Walmart Controlled Substance Compliance.
- Collaborate with business partners to understand business strategies and identify potential compliance risks.
- Respond to compliance questions and issues; monitoring laws and regulations for specified area.
- Draft and update policies and standard operating procedures.
- Develop effective training and communications strategies for Walmart Controlled Substance Compliance associates and providers.
- Identify and implement effective auditing and monitoring strategies to assess effectiveness of controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 2 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area.
- 2 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
- Subject matter expertise in pharmacy-controlled substance compliance requirements.
- Significant experience and familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements.
- A process-oriented mindset looking for opportunities to streamline for improved efficiency and effectiveness.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams within a corporate environment.
