About the role
- Provide overall direction and leadership in the development and implementation of transfer pricing practices, policies, and strategies.
- Coordinate multi-functional teams and manage the transfer pricing documentation process.
- Manage responses to the IRS and other taxing authorities regarding transfer pricing issues.
- Advise on plans for meetings and negotiations with government tax officials and direct the preparation of supporting positions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on United States and international tax issues.
- Develop and implement strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in transfer pricing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and 5 years’ experience in accounting, income tax compliance, payroll tax, or related area OR 7 years’ experience in accounting, income tax compliance, payroll tax, or related area.
- 3 years’ supervisory experience.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- In-depth knowledge of international and U.S. transfer pricing regulations and documentation requirements.
- Experience in seeking and negotiating APAs.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
