About the role
- Lead the end-to-end renewal process for Scintilla Charter subscribers, developing tailored retention strategies for each account.
- Proactively engage with subscribers 6–12 months prior to contract expiration to assess satisfaction, identify evolving needs, and communicate value delivered.
- Structure, negotiate, and close renewal agreements, ensuring terms align with business objectives and client requirements.
- Collaborate with Account Management, the Solutions Consulting team, and Research Leads – along with Product and Legal teams, to resolve issues and align renewal offerings.
- Analyze subscriber usage data, feedback, and market trends to inform renewal strategies and identify upsell opportunities.
- Develop and maintain renewal forecasts, pipeline metrics, and reporting to inform leadership and support business planning.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Scintilla Charter offerings and advocate for subscriber needs internally.
- Maintain accurate records of all renewal activities in CRM (Salesforce) and contract management systems.
Requirements
- (preferred) Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in account management, renewals, business development, or related client-facing roles—preferably in SaaS, data analytics, or enterprise B2B environments.
- Demonstrated success in contract negotiation and renewal management for complex, high-value accounts.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with usage and performance data.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and navigate cross-functional environments.
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and contract management platforms.
