About the role
- This role supports merchant and sourcing efforts to negotiate with suppliers to deliver our EDLC/EDLP customer promise.
- Engage merchants and cross functional partners to develop strategies to deliver financial metrics.
- Work closely with the transformation organization to drive negotiation capabilities and innovation to create a world class negotiation culture.
- Enable GM merchants to know their cost opportunities and achieving them with tools, training and support.
- Help merchants negotiate with suppliers to lower costs, which in turn fuel the flywheel for growth.
- Drive innovation in analytic tools and support to help merchandising build stronger capabilities and create a culture of world class negotiators.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, or related field and 5 years’ experience in data analytics, project management, business, or related area OR 7 years’ experience in data analytics, project management, business, or related area.
- 3 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
- 4 years’ supervisory experience.
