About the role
- Oversees all general predictive and preventative maintenance of overall building (Plumbing, Electrical, Structural, etc.) for multiple facilities within the region.
- Directly leads technicians that conduct the hands-on maintenance at the facilities.
- Would require approximately 50% or more travel within the region.
- Leads, motivates, and develops technicians.
- Works directly with Store Managers on their facility services needs.
- Leads daily calls with technicians and holds them accountable.
- Oversees budget, manages and evaluates workload, ensures tickets are being escalated properly, works directly with different vendors and contractors if needed, responsible for reporting and analytics, and recruiting and hiring of technicians.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field and 3 years’ experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or related area OR 5 years’ experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or related area.
- General Facilities Services / Overall Building Maintenance Experience – 3-5 years would be optimal
- Electrical, plumbing, and or mechanical experience
- Hard Skill Sets Needed: EPA Universal Certification, PMP Certification, Lean Six Sigma
