About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Apply data strategy principles to routine business problems involving a single function
  • Select analytical modeling techniques for structured, complex data
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis, statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and statistical inference
  • Define and finalize features and introduce revised features to improve analysis outcomes
  • Design and conduct experiments and test hypotheses

Requirements

What you’ll need

  • Knowledge of data strategy, data management, data quality standards, data governance, accessibility, storage, and scalability
  • Knowledge of analytical modeling, exploratory data analysis, advanced statistics, machine learning, NLP, computer vision, neural networks, SVM, and random forests
  • Knowledge of multivariate calculus and statistical models behind standard machine learning models
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Programming skills in R and Python
  • Knowledge of classical and numerical optimization, including linear, integer, and quadratic programming
  • Knowledge of model deployment, model formats, servers, scalability, and sustainability
  • Coding skills in SQL, Java, C, Python, and other languages
  • Knowledge of software testing methods
  • Knowledge of big data analytics and automation techniques
  • Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, databases, and distributed datastores
  • Knowledge of model fit testing, tuning, validation, chi-square, ROC curve, and root mean square error
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools and libraries, including GGplot, Matplotlib, Plotly, Tableau, and Power BI
  • Ability to understand business context and metrics across multiple domains
  • Ability to identify appropriate data sources and assess data quality
