About the role
- Ensure accurate and timely end-to-end payroll processing for employees in assigned European countries.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax, Social Security, and labor regulations in each country to guarantee full compliance with local laws.
- Collaborate closely with People and Finance teams to ensure the accuracy of payroll-related information.
- Proactively identify and resolve payroll discrepancies or issues.
- Ensure the correct enrollment, modification, and termination of employee benefits such as health insurance, pension plans, and other payroll-related benefits.
- Support rewards-related processes linked to payroll execution.
- Collect, maintain, and process accurate payroll data, ensuring confidentiality, data integrity, and compliance with data protection standards.
- Act as a point of contact for employees regarding payroll and benefits-related questions.
- Provide timely, clear, and professional support to resolve issues.
- Perform regular payroll audits to identify potential errors or irregularities.
- Maintain accurate and complete payroll documentation and records.
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll and rewards processes, increase efficiency, and reduce errors.
- Contribute to the implementation of best practices, policies, and process enhancements.
- Act as a strong team player, collaborating effectively in cross-functional and international projects.
Requirements
- Deep Payroll Expertise
- Solid experience managing payroll in multiple European countries.
- Strong understanding of local tax, Social Security, and labor regulations.
- Technical Skills
- Experience working with payroll software and external payroll providers.
- Advanced skills in spreadsheets and data handling; database knowledge is a plus.
- Communication Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to Detail
- High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail when managing payroll data and calculations.
- Additional Plus
- Experience managing payroll outside Europe and/or working with multiple international payroll providers.
- Education & Experience
- Degree in Labor Relations, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing within a multinational environment, with a strong focus on European countries.
