About the role

  • You identify relevant tenders on the market and assess their potential.
  • You analyze requirements (technical, economic, legal) and structure the entire process – from the initial concept to final bid submission.
  • You coordinate the timely preparation of our documentation – even under tight timeframes of just a few weeks.
  • You lead (small) projects related to tenders, awarding processes and process optimization within tender management.
  • You facilitate workshops and alignment meetings – ensuring that decisions are made and implemented.
  • You consolidate input from Sales, Accounting, Technical, Legal and regional branches.
  • You ensure that our proposals are technically sound, economically viable and formally correct.
  • You keep track of figures and deadlines and ensure that risks and opportunities are transparent.
  • You are the direct point of contact for the Managing Director of City Marketing.
  • You prepare presentations, decision papers and analyses for internal committees, municipal clients and international stakeholders.
  • You monitor developments in the market, among municipalities and within the group – e.g. on sustainability, digitalization and new business models – and derive actionable recommendations.

Requirements

  • You hold a degree with an economic or administration-related focus (e.g., Business Administration, Business Law, Public Administration/Economics) or have a comparable qualification.
  • You have already gained initial professional experience in a B2B environment, for example in a company, consultancy, public enterprise, construction/infrastructure or service sector, and have ideally contributed to bid preparation or more complex projects.
  • Ideally, you have knowledge of public procurement procedures or are willing to learn quickly.
  • You bring solid project management competencies, ideally with certification (e.g., IPMA, PRINCE2, PMI or similar).
  • You present yourself confidently and have a strong communication style – both in person and in writing you can engage and convince diverse stakeholders.
  • You work independently, in a structured way and with a high level of quality awareness.
