About the role

  • Advise clients on existing and new regulations
  • Communicate key regulatory updates and client alerts
  • Work with Regulatory & Risk Advisory team for compliance advice
  • Assist with regulatory enforcement matters when needed
  • Provide responsive service to clients
  • Develop and expand client relationships
  • Participate in knowledge sharing and training sessions

Requirements

  • Bermuda and/or qualified commonwealth lawyer
  • 3-5 years of post-qualifying financial regulatory experience
  • Knowledge of AML/ATF and sanctions compliance
  • Experience with licensing advice and applications
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity and data privacy
  • Knowledge of anti-bribery and cyberbreach response
  • Excellent academic background
  • Solid legal skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
