About the role
- Lead high-impact PR programs. Serve as the executive representation on accounts, and develop strategies that drive meaningful visibility and business results for clients across earned, shared, and owned channels.
- Serve as a trusted advisor. Build strong partnerships with C-level and senior client leaders, offering strategic counsel that aligns with business objectives and fuels long-term growth.
- Drive business growth. Lead new business opportunities, from prospecting and pitching to scoping and onboarding. Expand existing accounts through strong client partnerships and proactive ideas.
- Identify and activate new revenue streams through the development of new offerings, expansion into adjacent service areas, and strategic external partnerships.
- Coach and mentor talent. Manage and inspire a team of PR professionals. Create opportunities for growth, champion professional development, and foster a culture of curiosity and collaboration.
- Elevate our Boston presence. Partner with agency leadership to strengthen our regional footprint through networking, community engagement, and brand visibility efforts.
- Champion innovation. Stay on the pulse of emerging trends in media, AI, and analytics. Bring new tools and approaches that enhance our capabilities and results.
- Deliver measurable impact. Set clear KPIs and report on business outcomes. Use data-driven insights to optimize programs and demonstrate the value of communications.
Requirements
- 10–15 years of experience leading client accounts in a PR agency, ideally with exposure to integrated marketing programs.
- Proven success managing complex, high-value PR campaigns across B2B industries. Preferred experience working with enterprise technologies companies across AI, IT, cloud and/or infrastructure.
- Experience leading and managing teams to create a collaborative and growth-minded work environment.
- Strong background in business development, including pitching, negotiating, and closing new business opportunities.
- Deep understanding of today’s media ecosystem — from traditional outlets to podcasts, influencers, social, and emerging platforms.
- Expertise in crafting strategies that combine earned media with paid, shared and owned amplification.
- Experience using AI and data tools for media strategy, targeting, and measurement.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
- A commitment to collaboration, continuous learning, and driving impact through innovation.
