About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide closing support to the Closing Officers with a particular emphasis on data management, due diligence review, and document preparation
  • Close assumptions, supplementals and vanilla agency loans under the supervision of a senior closing officer
  • Support Delivery Management.
  • Manage receipt and review of due diligence items and ensure all necessary participants receive copies
  • Track rate lock and closing special conditions
  • Assist with drafting commitments
  • Calculate interest only payments / generate amortization schedules
  • Prepare rate lock confirmations
  • Prepare C&D commitments and submissions on Fannie Mae deals
  • Upload required Freddie Mac documentation
  • Prepare escrow analyses for tax and insurance escrows
  • Prepare reconciliation of application fee and third-party costs
  • Generate closing documents for review by Closing Officer and prepare accounting packages and bank packages for funding
  • Prepare Kyriba entries and submit for 1st level approval
  • Ensure that data in Salesforce is complete and accurate throughout the process
  • Set up Servicing Deliverables folder within 48 hours of closing
  • Follow up with counsel if documents are not received by required deadline
  • Generate Enterprise! within required timelines
  • Prepare Funding Express submissions on Fannie Mae deals and provide necessary information and back-up support to Delivery Management
  • Review C&D and the final 4662 before submission of the loan for securitization to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Track and follow up on post-closing requests from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac
  • Back up the closing analyst responsible for the preparation of income notices /bank communication related to funds to be received / Salesforce updates on ASAP and Freddie purchases / Freddie Mac weekly exception report / management of the fireproof safe log / management of original POAs from Fannie Mae
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four (4) year college or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of experience in the corporate workforce preferred
  • Ability to work as a part of a team, while providing a strong individual contribution
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent judgment and dependability, including the ability to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to show ownership of your work, take on challenges and acknowledge growth opportunities, and demonstrate patience when learning new processes
