About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Create, process, and manage purchase orders within NetSuite
  • Monitor inventory levels and proactively identify replenishment needs
  • Coordinate with suppliers to place orders, confirm deliveries, and resolve supply issues
  • Maintain accurate inventory, purchasing, and supplier records within the ERP system
  • Track purchase orders from creation through receipt and ensure timely updates
  • Partner with warehouse, finance, and operations teams to support inventory accuracy and material availability
  • Track outgoing shipments, resolve customs-related issues, and ensure on-time delivery to customers
  • Monitor lead times and communicate potential supply chain risks or delays to internal stakeholders
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency across purchasing and inventory processes
  • Collaborate daily with cross-functional teams located at Waites World HQ in Cincinnati, Ohio
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as needed to support business objectives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, inventory control, logistics, or an administrative operations role
  • Experience working within an ERP system is required - NetSuite experience is strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience managing purchase orders and inventory records
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a global team
  • Demonstrates exceptional communication and collaboration skills with a strong focus on delivering a customer-delight experience in every interaction
