About the role
- Independent negotiation of purchase prices and terms, contract management
- Ensuring continuous supply availability through optimal inventory planning
- Order planning / inventory control
- Development and management of long-term business relationships
- Supplier selection and evaluation
- Ongoing market and competitor monitoring
- Active assortment management
- Attending trade fairs and supplier visits
Requirements
- Several years of purchasing experience in a trading/retail company preferred
- Subject-matter expertise in photovoltaics, smart home and security technology (general building services) desirable
- Strong negotiation skills
- 'Hands-on' mentality, team spirit, resilience, strong organizational skills, and a structured, independent and flexible way of working
- Experience handling conflicts and negotiation situations
- Degree in business administration/economics or commercial vocational training
- Business-fluent English
