About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee and grow design team of gas distribution systems
Responsible for project proposal development including positioning, approach, preparation and pricing
Responsible for project execution including scope, schedule and budget
Manage resources to successfully deliver project to client on time and under budget while meeting or exceeding client expectations
Provide design/technical expertise to project and/or coordinate as necessary with technical leads
Coordinate the design function with various team members on the project
Ensure employees have knowledge and tools to complete tasks
Maintain lasting client relationships
Generate additional sales through business development activities
Supervise project review (QA/QC) meetings
Assist with project reports and technical presentations
Attend client, staff and project meetings
Estimate fees, review project plans and specification
Maintain a safe working environment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Environment (or related engineering field) is required
5 or more years of experience in natural gas distribution systems/design, natural gas infrastructure, regulator station design, high pressure steel, compression, and government regulations is required
Knowledge of personal computer hardware and software configurations and familiarity is required
Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D is required
Experience with CadWorx or Autodesk Plant 3D is a plus
Compression station design experience is a plus
Horizontal directional drill (HDD) modeling is a plus
