About the role
- Provide technical planning, biological process and mechanical design and construction support on various water and wastewater treatment and resource recovery projects
- Prepare engineering calculations and run process models
- Conduct on-site inspections and technical guidance for start-up as needed
- Prepare project status and other reports
- Attend client, public, project, and staff meetings
- Maintain excellent client relations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- 10+ years of related experience
- Licensed Professional Engineer
- Experience with water/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, sewer/ combined sewer overflow, collection and conveyance systems, distribution and transmission systems, storm water, hydrologic and hydraulic models and/or other water resource projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work well with others
