Key responsibilities & impact

Establish, further develop, and operationally lead a group-wide IT organization (matrix structure)
Consolidate and harmonize the decentralized IT structures of the individual companies
Ensure a stable, pragmatic, and service-oriented IT operations organization
Work closely with the management teams of the individual entities as well as the group executive management
Actively manage stakeholders across all companies
Prioritize and steer ongoing IT initiatives in the face of competing requirements
Build efficient processes without over-bureaucratization
Ensure an appropriate level of IT maturity in all entities
Lead and develop a distributed, heterogeneous IT team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of experience leading IT organizations in a mid-market or decentralized corporate environment
Proven experience in building or transforming IT structures (e.g., centralization, matrix organization, group IT)
Strong hands-on mentality with operational execution capability
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and align diverse stakeholders
Pragmatism over overengineering — you create solutions that work in daily operations
Experience working with heterogeneous organizations and varying levels of IT maturity
Not exclusively strategic or heavily governance-driven — execution-oriented
