Overall responsibility for receivables management, including process design, dunning/collections and coordination with Sales and Service
Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements as well as valuation of outstanding receivables and balances
Execution of central financial accounting tasks (accounts payable, accounts receivable, travel expenses, fixed assets accounting, bank postings, electronic payment runs)
Regular reporting and analyses, e.g. aging reports, KPIs, VAT reconciliations
Management of guarantee/surety transactions and support on group-wide consolidation topics
Participation in day-to-day operations and point of contact for accounting issues under HGB (German Commercial Code) and tax regulations
Continuous process optimization and support for digitization initiatives

Requirements

Degree in business administration with a focus on Finance/Accounting or equivalent qualification
Several years of experience in finance and accounting, ideally in an internationally operating manufacturing company
Confident handling of HGB financial statements and solid knowledge of balance sheet accounting (HGB = German Commercial Code)
Strong IT affinity and experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
Very good German and English skills
Structured, independent and analytical working style, with strong teamwork and communication skills
Willingness to travel occasionally to sites within Germany
