Outside Sales Representative

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for general and specific tasks related to the effective opening, execution and closing of the end-to-end sales cycle processes through the development of sales strategies.
- Partners with Inside Sales to ensure account retention through customer support.
- Profitably grows sales to achieve yearly sales goals as a consultant for current and emerging industries.
- Prospects new accounts and increases opportunities with existing customers.
- Maintains and builds customer relationships to ensure retention, growth and client satisfaction.
- Completes regular sales call plans and tracks results.
- Creates sales goals and tracks sales through reporting.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and collaborate with internal teams.
- Attend industry events and complete any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3-5 five years of outside sales experience, or any equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Proven experience in outside sales, business development, or a related field.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong ability to build rapport and maintain client relationships.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Ability to travel within assigned territory.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
