About the role
- Set up and maintain pricing and promotional details across systems and platforms while maintaining approved margins.
- Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to ensure promotions are launched on time and accurately.
- Support updates to pricing and promotional materials as needed.
- Monitor changes to pricing and promotional materials, ensuring proper approvals are documented and version history is maintained.
- Identify workflow bottlenecks and help test new approaches to improve efficiency.
- Maintain SOPs and keep training materials up to date.
- Support creation of training guides or checklists for new team members or system updates.
- Participate in user testing for new tools or system upgrades and provide feedback.
- Assist with change management by communicating process changes and supporting training sessions or Q&A follow-ups.
- Respond to questions from merchandising, operations, and customer service teams regarding pricing and promotional processes.
- Help troubleshoot issues and escalate when needed.
- Attend team meetings and planning sessions to stay informed on upcoming promotions, pricing changes, and process updates.
- Maintain organized records of pricing and promotion documents, including calendars, approvals, and retailer guidelines.
- Ensure files are clearly labeled and easy to locate.
Requirements
- Minimum Education Associate degree or equivalent experience (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Minimum Experience 5 years in retail operations, pricing, or customer service.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- 5+ years of experience in retail operations, pricing, or customer service.
- Strong understanding of retail pricing and promotions.
- Experience with major ERP systems.
- Proven ability to complete time-sensitive tasks.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, data management tools, and performance reporting.
