About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting healthcare systems built on the Cognizant Facets platform.
- Working closely with Technical Analysts, business stakeholders, and infrastructure teams to deliver integrations, extensions, and cloud-based solutions in support of core healthcare operations.
- Focusing on hands-on development of Facets extensions, integrations, and related components, while supporting deployments and operations within AWS environments.
- Leveraging strong SQL skills and system knowledge to build reliable, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
- Participating in the full software development lifecycle and assisting with production support and issue resolution.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3 years of residential requirements in the US
- Strong hands-on experience with Cognizant / TriZetto Facets , including extensions, batch processes, and integrations
- Strong SQL development experience, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance troubleshooting
- Experience developing or supporting healthcare payer applications
- Experience deploying, developing, or supporting applications in AWS environments
- Solid understanding of system integrations, including APIs, file-based interfaces, and batch jobs
- Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and building CI/CD pipelines
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills for production issues
- Knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall development methodologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
