Engineering Manager

• Lead sprint execution with the scrum team; participate in daily scrum calls
• Ensure the team meets sprint goals (committed deliverables) and quality standards (defect reduction)
• Serve as the first point of escalation for delivery and quality challenges during sprint execution
• Own resource planning, forecasting, and onboarding of new team members (software setup, technical KT)
• Drive team building, development, and continuous improvement
• Sizing and estimation for new initiatives, projects, and backlog features
• Collaborate with technical architecture teams on design for new projects and features
• Partner with Product Owners/Product Managers to understand product vision, objectives, and metrics
• Create and maintain effective software delivery frameworks that ensure quality
• Establish and enforce code review processes, adherence to coding standards
• Establish automated quality control processes (CI/CD pipelines including standards checks, automated functional, security, and performance testing)
