About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own daily, weekly, and monthly outreach and enrollment targets for assigned expansion markets
  • Monitor outreach performance in real time and redirect team effort to address shortfalls
  • Lead daily enrollment huddles covering results, call targets, priority lists, and barriers
  • Manage outreach list hygiene, call cadence, attempt rules, and time-of-day strategy
  • Partner with reporting to develop and refine performance dashboards and reports
  • Produce daily and weekly reporting for clinical, growth, and executive leadership; escalate risks with recovery plans
  • Translate expansion goals into staffing plans, volume requirements, and productivity expectations
  • Collaborate with Marketing and senior leadership on strategies, messaging, materials, scripting, and campaign timing
  • Directly supervise and develop the Enrollment RN, Enrollment Medical Assistants, Outreach Specialists, and in-person Clinical Liaison
  • Complete annual performance reviews and conduct weekly 1:1s, coaching, and performance management
  • Oversee Clinical Liaison field activity, referral source engagement, on-site enrollment support, and market coordination
  • Ensure clinical screening, eligibility review, consent conversations, documentation, and enrollment workflows meet standards
  • Monitor and coach call quality through call reviews and side-by-side observation
  • Support onboarding, training, mentoring, and precepting of enrollment staff
  • Ensure daily outreach coverage across time zones and manage call-offs, PTO, and schedule changes
  • Conduct routine audits for eligibility accuracy, documentation completeness, compliance, and workflow adherence
  • Identify and resolve workflow issues affecting reach rate, conversion, or speed to enrollment
  • Support program improvements, standardization, and scalability during new-market launches
  • Collaborate with Providers, clinical teams, health plans, and referral partners to ensure handoff to ongoing care
  • Provide direct outreach, screening, or patient care delivery as needed
  • Travel for training, meetings, market launches, and other business needs as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Willing and able to work Monday through Friday, with outreach coverage spanning 8:00am Eastern Time through 5:30pm Pacific Time, with flexibility for potential evenings and weekends
  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Ability to obtain California licensure within 6 months of hire
  • Ability to obtain additional state licensure as needed
  • 2 years of people management experience
  • 5 years in a direct care delivery role as a Registered Nurse, including at least 2 years in palliative care, hospice care, or complex care management
  • Experience managing daily production or outreach metrics
  • Strong data fluency and ability to build, read, and act on reports and dashboards
  • Experience in change management in rapid-growth environments
  • Strong organizational and independent working skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Google applications
  • Salesforce experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and motivational skills, including conflict resolution techniques
  • Experience launching or scaling enrollment, intake, or patient acquisition functions in a new market
  • Experience overseeing telephonic outreach or healthcare call center operations
  • Experience managing field-based or in-person liaison staff
  • Working knowledge of lean Six Sigma methodology
  • CHPN certification preferred
  • Background check required prior to employment
  • Influenza vaccination required for patient-, client-, or customer-facing roles, subject to accommodation consideration
  • Must comply with U.S. employment eligibility verification using E-Verify
