About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support day-to-day healthcare regulatory compliance activities across the organization
  • Evaluate healthcare regulatory, payer, and program requirements and translate them into actionable compliance activities
  • Partner with Compliance and operational leaders to identify needs and coordinate implementation
  • Maintain regulatory compliance tools, documentation, and tracking mechanisms
  • Advise operational teams on healthcare regulatory processes and documentation expectations
  • Monitor compliance action items and escalate outstanding items or risks
  • Support regulatory assessments and readiness activities for new state expansion
  • Review state-specific healthcare operational, licensure, payer, and program requirements
  • Develop and maintain state-specific regulatory readiness documentation, checklists, and implementation resources
  • Support post-launch compliance activities for new markets
  • Manage governance and lifecycle management of policies, SOPs, workflows, and compliance documentation
  • Coordinate development, standardization, review, revision, and maintenance of policies and procedures
  • Manage a centralized, version-controlled document repository
  • Establish processes for document reviews, approvals, version control, and communicating updates
  • Oversee governance of contract lifecycle management, vendor/BAA tracking, attestations, and delegation agreements
  • Ensure policies, procedures, workflows, and clinical guidelines reflect current practices
  • Align compliance training materials with current policies and workflows
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation trails
  • Identify opportunities to improve compliance processes, documentation, lifecycle governance, and workflows
  • Serve as the regulatory and governance resource for Compliance, Clinical Operations, Palliative Care, ECM, Operations, Product/EMR, and other teams
  • Provide regulatory and documentation guidance during cross-functional projects and new initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Nursing, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in healthcare compliance, regulatory affairs, quality, or a related healthcare operations role
  • Working knowledge of federal and state healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and payer requirements
  • Experience in home-based care, palliative care, hospice, care management, or a similar healthcare setting preferred
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional projects and driving implementation of regulatory or operational initiatives
  • Experience with healthcare policy management, document control, governance processes, or compliance documentation programs
  • Familiarity with contract lifecycle management, vendor/BAA tracking, or contract management platforms
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships and work effectively across clinical, operational, and corporate teams
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with document management systems and compliance tracking tools preferred
  • Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or other relevant certification preferred but not required
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Background check required prior to employment
  • Employees in patient, client, or customer-facing roles must be vaccinated against influenza
