About the role

  • Working remotely (within the UK) with occasional travel to our HQ in London.
  • Design, architect, implement, and support key datasets and data warehouses for both static and real time data.
  • Engineer analytics dashboards and tooling for data retrieval.
  • Perform analysis to assess and enhance quality and meaning of data.
  • Leverage automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources.
  • Working with other stakeholders including management and engineering to devise and develop insight and reporting use cases for our customers.
  • Help identify process improvements, system modifications and devise data governance strategies.

Requirements

  • You are a self starter, with a passion for highly scalable data analytics systems.
  • Experienced building AWS Cloud based data systems using: AWS Athena/PrestoDB Lambda, S3, Kinesis, Glue SQL NodeJS CubeJS Relational Database Systems.
  • It is useful to have experience in technologies including: ReactJS.
  • Data visualization and analytics software such as Tableau.
  • Git/version control.
  • Other big data technologies such as hive, hadoop, spark.
  • Hands on experience building data warehousing including ETL pipelines.
  • Experience processing data from multiple heterogeneous sources.
  • Ability to design complex data architectures for performant analytics.
