About the role
- Working remotely (within the UK) with occasional travel to our HQ in London.
- Design, architect, implement, and support key datasets and data warehouses for both static and real time data.
- Engineer analytics dashboards and tooling for data retrieval.
- Perform analysis to assess and enhance quality and meaning of data.
- Leverage automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources.
- Working with other stakeholders including management and engineering to devise and develop insight and reporting use cases for our customers.
- Help identify process improvements, system modifications and devise data governance strategies.
Requirements
- You are a self starter, with a passion for highly scalable data analytics systems.
- Experienced building AWS Cloud based data systems using: AWS Athena/PrestoDB Lambda, S3, Kinesis, Glue SQL NodeJS CubeJS Relational Database Systems.
- It is useful to have experience in technologies including: ReactJS.
- Data visualization and analytics software such as Tableau.
- Git/version control.
- Other big data technologies such as hive, hadoop, spark.
- Hands on experience building data warehousing including ETL pipelines.
- Experience processing data from multiple heterogeneous sources.
- Ability to design complex data architectures for performant analytics.
