Account Executive

• Own and grow a named set of enterprise accounts, with a focus on net-new revenue and strategic expansion.
• Drive net-new revenue by qualifying, developing, and closing high-value opportunities.
• Maintain a consistent and strategic pipeline with accurate forecasting in Salesforce. Lead the full sales cycle—from prospecting and partner collaboration (technology and reseller partners) through negotiation and close.
• Build relationships with CISOs, Vulnerability Management leaders, Threat Intelligence teams, SOC leaders, and other key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Product, and Marketing to tailor solutions to client needs.
• Act as a trusted advisor and thought leader in vulnerability intelligence and attack surface reduction.

• Own outbound prospecting and meeting generation for public sector accounts (federal, state, and local), partnering closely with Account Directors to build strategic pipelines
• Engage inbound and outbound prospects with curiosity-driven discovery
• Communicate the value of VulnCheck through authentic, human conversations
• Book qualified meetings through email, phone, LinkedIn, and creative outreach
• Learn and apply our vulnerability intelligence messaging and demo workflows
• Partner with sales leadership to refine prospecting strategies
• Use Salesforce and outreach tools to build strong pipelines
• Participate in call reviews, coaching sessions, and regular training to continuously grow
• Collaborate across teams to provide feedback that strengthens our go-to-market strategy
• Travel occasionally throughout the year for conferences, team offsites, and company events (typically a few times per year, planned in advance)

• Lead, mentor, and scale a team of Technical Account Managers, setting clear goals and development plans.
• Build onboarding, enablement, and training programs to ensure consistent, high-quality TAM delivery.
• Define and track key success metrics including time-to-value, adoption, integration depth, customer health, and retention impact.
• Develop scalable engagement models, playbooks, and best practices to standardize post-sales technical support.
• Serve as an escalation point for complex technical or strategic customer issues and oversee key customer relationships.

Software Engineer

• Reverse engineering software to discover the root cause of both zero-day and n-day vulnerabilities
• Writing original software exploits for initial access vulnerabilities using VulnCheck’s open-source go-exploit framework, including when there are no public PoCs or vulnerability details
• Implementing detections (such as Suricata & Snort signatures, YARA rules, etc.) that accurately identify initial access vulnerabilities being exploited on the wire
• Writing Attack Surface Management (ASM) queries (e.g., Shodan, Census, FOFA, & ZoomEye) to find vulnerable systems likely to be targeted
• Contributing to technical blogs and/or conference talks (optional) on exploit development and attack trends
