About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct research and analyses supporting strategic and transformational initiatives across the organization
Assist in developing business strategies supporting the CEO and Executive Team to improve company profit, enterprise value, and competitive position
Support enterprise, pillar, and line-of-business strategies
Support and drive longer-term strategic and business plans
Participate in the annual operational planning process
Ensure adherence to Board delivery timelines
Coordinate and prepare content for Board of Directors and Committee meetings as necessary
Develop insights on the vision care, insurance, materials, healthcare, retail, technology, and adjacent industries and trends globally
Continually define and update strategy as the business environment changes
Collaborate with business leaders to identify and define strategic initiatives with overarching impact
Develop creative and pragmatic solutions
Partner with internal data and analytics teams to develop and maintain qualitative and quantitative metrics
Measure progress against enterprise strategic goals and strategic initiative outcomes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, marketing, statistics, or related field
Eight years of experience in corporate strategy, strategic planning, corporate development, strategy or management consulting, research, data analytics, market analysis, or competitive intelligence
Working knowledge and experience in the vision, healthcare, or insurance industry
Strong verbal and written communication skills focused on simplicity of messaging
Highly proficient in PowerPoint
Ability to use logic and think through future implications
Proven ability and willingness to work through details and execute
Personal and professional integrity with the ability to preserve confidentiality
Desire to understand all areas of the business and identify opportunities, solutions, and metrics
Energy and enthusiasm for new ideas
For remote or hybrid roles, high engagement in virtual environments, including maintaining camera presence during meetings
Ability to influence stakeholders, build trust, and drive accountability and outcomes without direct authority
Experience partnering with executives, synthesizing complex information, and communicating with clarity and confidence
