About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Coordinate the management of a strategic portfolio which includes multiple related programs and projects directed toward an enterprise pillar
Partners with business leaders at all levels to envision, define, and initiate programs
Provides direction and guidance to program and project managers to monitor cost, schedule, and technical performance of component projects and operations
Captures the portfolio impact and value creation against strategic objectives
Leads the creation and delivery of the business and supporting capabilities necessary to reach the goals of multiple programs and projects
Manages risks and resolves issues requiring senior-level attention
Communicates information and recommends criteria for governance actions and decisions
Develops and improves portfolio and program processes
Acts as an advisor and provides leadership for the program management team
Develops budget, financial projections and forecasted ROI for the program

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience
Minimum 8 years of experience in project management/program management, leading large and complex projects
Minimum 8 years of experience with various project management methodologies, standard concepts, practices, procedures, tools, and/or software packages within a structured PMO environment
Proven ability to navigate complex situations through the organizational landscape and with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the enterprise
Strong leadership skills to coordinate and motivate program and project teams
Adept at financial management to administer budgets across multiple projects and ensure the program meets its requirements for return on investment, timing, and budget
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and analytical skills
Strong business aptitude and problem-solving skills
