About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Sell and service eyewear products by managing existing accounts and developing new prospects
  • Exercise a broad knowledge of the organization's services, products, and marketing techniques
  • Develop creative sales strategy to contact prospects
  • Cultivate and develop strong business relationships with customers
  • Represent eyewear line of business to customer base in all sales-oriented activities
  • Collaborate with various VSP departments to ensure service levels and expectations are met
  • Utilize sales automation system to make inquiries, maintain records and prepare reports

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Three plus years of sales experience
  • Results-driven achiever with exemplary planning and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated track record meeting sales/revenue goals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Highly adaptable, positive, resilient, patient risk-taker
  • Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships
  • Innovative problem-solver who can generate workable solutions
  • Flexible team player who thrives in environments requiring ability to prioritize
  • Must travel more than 50% of the time
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to achieve and maintain any applicable agent licensing requirements
