About the role
- Ensure the professional development and career growth of your team, aligned with the organization’s best practices;

- Analyze and allocate people to teams according to their skills and participate in the selection of new hires;
- Manage the area’s objectives and targets aligned with the organization’s strategic goals;
- Support senior management and other departments on matters related to project, product, and personnel costs and budget feasibility;
- Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures;
- Lead the Infrastructure area planning;
- Ensure data security, network access, and backup and firewall systems;
- Work on the continuous improvement of Infrastructure processes;
- Monitor staging and production environments;
- Monitor the organization’s internal networks;
- Supervise and, when necessary, act on infrastructure demands arising from operational crises affecting products;
- Safeguard assets, information security, and control structures;
- Negotiate and make decisions regarding contracting services and purchasing infrastructure products;
- Maintain relationships with infrastructure service and product vendors;
- Lead the infrastructure team in accordance with a DevOps culture.
Requirements
- People management and development skills;
- Knowledge of strategic management;
- Reading and writing skills in English (intermediate);
- Knowledge of agile methodologies;
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems;
- Scripting knowledge (Shell Script, Python, etc.);
- Knowledge of TCP/IP – fundamentals and protocols (DNS, HTTP/s, FTP, SSL);
- Knowledge of web servers and load balancers (Apache, Nginx, IIS, HAProxy, etc.);
- Cloud experience: Azure, Digital Ocean, and Oracle Cloud;
- Knowledge of observability tools (ELK Stack, APIM, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.);
- Knowledge of containers and container orchestration (Docker, Rancher, Kubernetes);
- Infrastructure as Code knowledge (Terraform, Ansible);
- CI/CD pipeline experience (Azure DevOps);
- Knowledge of Information Security.
