About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support VRChat’s partnership and business development initiatives in Japan.
- Work closely with the Head of Japan Growth and cross-functional teams.
- Help coordinate partnerships, manage project execution, support contract processes, and ensure key initiatives move forward efficiently.
- Enjoy both relationship management and operational execution.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4-5 years of professional business experience
- Experience coordinating with partners, vendors, or external stakeholders
- Experience supporting contract-related processes and business operations
- Native-level Japanese and business-level English communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of projects and follow-through
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred: Experience in startups or small, fast-moving teams
- Experience in entertainment, gaming, XR, creator economy, or IP-related industries
- Experience working with international teams and cross-cultural stakeholders
- Familiarity with VRChat, virtual worlds, creator platforms, or UGC ecosystems.
