About the role
- Virtual Service Operations searching for IT Helpdesk Security Analyst in Richardson, TX to administrate security aspects of an enterprise environment
- Initial point of contact for users via telephone, email, face-2-face to provide technical support
- Assist with navigating application menus and remote into users' computers when required
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and work with remote employees on VPN
- Develop and sustain effective and productive user relationships, focusing on user needs
- Offer alternative solutions and escalate complex problems to L2/L3 staff
Requirements
- Familiarity with PKI certificates and RSA authentication support
- Understanding of Active Directory to unlock and reset passwords
- Previous computer technical support preferred
- Strong knowledge of network troubleshooting, including connectivity issues, locating IP or TCP/IP addresses, VPN software, supporting remote users
- Proficient with troubleshooting all Windows Operating system
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve email issues
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
- Outstanding customer skills, with the ability to empathize and professionally troubleshoot and resolve customer's issues
- Current CompTIA A+ CE, Network+ CE or Security+ CE certifications a plus
- Must be within driving distance of Richardson, TX and willing to work onsite 2 days a week
- U.S. citizenship required (pursuant to a government contract)
- Must comply with drug testing at hire or regular/random intervals
