About the role

  • Virtual Service Operations searching for IT Helpdesk Security Analyst in Richardson, TX to administrate security aspects of an enterprise environment
  • Initial point of contact for users via telephone, email, face-2-face to provide technical support
  • Assist with navigating application menus and remote into users' computers when required
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and work with remote employees on VPN
  • Develop and sustain effective and productive user relationships, focusing on user needs
  • Offer alternative solutions and escalate complex problems to L2/L3 staff

Requirements

  • Familiarity with PKI certificates and RSA authentication support
  • Understanding of Active Directory to unlock and reset passwords
  • Previous computer technical support preferred
  • Strong knowledge of network troubleshooting, including connectivity issues, locating IP or TCP/IP addresses, VPN software, supporting remote users
  • Proficient with troubleshooting all Windows Operating system
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve email issues
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
  • Outstanding customer skills, with the ability to empathize and professionally troubleshoot and resolve customer's issues
  • Current CompTIA A+ CE, Network+ CE or Security+ CE certifications a plus
  • Must be within driving distance of Richardson, TX and willing to work onsite 2 days a week
  • U.S. citizenship required (pursuant to a government contract)
  • Must comply with drug testing at hire or regular/random intervals
