Key responsibilities & impact

Input review/preparation/analysis and model run execution.
Develop, enhance, and modify current tools using VBA code.
Lead modeling projects related to changes in regulations or company initiatives.
Analyze model results for reasonableness, key drivers, and interaction of assets and liabilities.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, Actuarial Science, or a directly related field
ASA with 4 or more years of experience with focus on annuities and group life products.
Knowledge of reserves, assets, liabilities, & financial statements.
Highly analytical, strong oral and written communication skills, detail oriented with an ability to solve complex business problems; capable of effectively communicating with all audiences.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Demonstrates high ethical standards and personal integrity
Strong knowledge of Excel, VBA is required
Experience with actuarial model platforms such as Risk Agility or Prophet is preferred.
