About the role
- The Product Owner will be responsible for defining and prioritizing the product backlog to ensure the delivery of valuable product features and enhancements.
- Bridge business goals and technical execution, working with engineering, design, QA, marketing, customer service and sales.
- Act as the voice of the customer and business within the development team; translate product strategy into detailed work and make day-to-day decisions.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, guide development, validate features against acceptance criteria, and support user acceptance testing.
- Monitor sprint progress, resolve impediments, use analytics and feedback to refine backlog, and ensure regulatory, data privacy, and security compliance.
- Ownership of performance and event monitoring; utilize reporting and debugging tools to optimize system efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2+ years experience in wealth management
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within an Agile development environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum principles, with direct experience writing user stories, managing product backlogs, and collaborating with cross-functional delivery teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to balance competing priorities, make data-informed decisions, and manage trade-offs
- Experience working with tools such as Jira, Confluence
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset
- Familiarity with software development processes and technology concepts
- A customer-first mindset and a passion for delivering value through iterative product improvements
