Engineering and Projects Intern
Votorantim CimentosIntern assisting in project execution and documentation tasks at Votorantim Cimentos. Supporting various engineering projects and administrative processes.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in executing projects within Votorantim Cimentos’ industrial areas, analyzing technical specifications and preparing execution detailing.
- Support the development of new projects by preparing/documenting scope, responsibilities and interfaces.
- Participate in preparing budgets for new projects, renovations and/or modifications, analyzing comparative cost breakdowns based on conceptual project detailing and technical specifications.
- Assist in the technical evaluation of proposals for equipment procurement and/or service contracts, verifying compliance with the standards of the relevant area.
- Support procurement processes by interfacing between the technical and supply areas, using the various systems in use at Votorantim Cimentos.
- Assist with the department’s administrative processes.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree program in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering or related fields (preferably with 2 to a maximum of 3 years remaining until graduation).
- Proficient in MS Office tools (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and related tools.
- English and/or Spanish skills preferred.
- Prior experience working on projects is desirable.
