About the role
- Design and produce high-quality concept art for characters, environments, and props.
- Work on illustrations for icons or stylised assets that align with the game’s aesthetic.
- Partner with the Art Director to align on visual style and direction.
- Actively contribute by providing creative ideas and constructive feedback.
- Gather references, brainstorm ideas, and create mock-ups that clearly communicate the artistic vision.
- Contribute to the creative direction by delivering compelling and innovative designs.
Requirements
- 4+ years as a Concept Artist, in the mobile gaming industry.
- Strong capabilities in concept art, including a keen eye for detail, composition, and style.
- Ability to adapt to different visual styles and produce assets that align with the game’s vision.
- Strong Illustration skills
- Skilled in tools like Maya, Blender, Unity, and Photoshop.
- Proficient in low-poly modelling and texturing pipelines; familiarity with Maya rigging workflows is a plus.
- Experience working with Unity
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Resourceful and proactive, with the ability to troubleshoot and iterate effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Nice to have: Create low-poly 3D models, including texturing, to meet both technical and artistic requirements.
- Experience in VFX creation or animation.
