About the role
- Create high-quality optimized 3D models, textures, and materials
- Rigging and animation
- Expertise in industry-standard tools such as Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, Photoshop and Z-Brush
- Define and establish art production pipelines, ensuring consistency across all creative work.
- Collaborate closely with the Art Director, and other teams to enhance project quality.
- Stay involved in hands-on asset creation, providing leadership and direction when necessary.
- Work effectively with other departments to make strategic decisions.
- Oversee the implementation of 3D assets into Unity and apply optimization techniques.
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders into the art direction.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a 3D artist or any other relevant experience in the gaming industry (strong focus on mobile gaming).
- Ability to work in a team with good leadership skills and delegate work accordingly.
- Ability to iterate and prototype quickly.
- Excellent communication skills with team members of different departments.
- Commitment to meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
- Aligning the 3D art team's goals with the studio vision.
- Passion for casual games and extensive knowledge of different game genres across all platforms.
- Knowledge of the technical constraints relating to Unity engine and level editors.
- Proactive attitude and strong work ethic to inspire others.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
