About the role
- Lead and mentor your team, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and excellence.
- Drive the evolution of Voodoo’s core technical stacks: AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform.
- Oversee the observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana) to ensure proper monitoring and metrics.
- Define, maintain, and track the infrastructure roadmap in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.
- Support development teams in designing, evolving, and optimizing their infrastructure, promoting best practices for architecture and cloud security.
- Monitor and optimize cloud costs, implementing FinOps practices and ensuring cost-efficient use of resources.
- Proactively identify opportunities and anticipate challenges in platform and infrastructure operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a technical lead; people management experience is a plus.
- Strong hands-on expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform.
- Understanding of cloud cost management / FinOps practices is a plus.
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset: you don’t wait for problems—you anticipate them.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience supporting multiple internal teams, ideally in an international environment.
