Transform granular loan‑level data from multiple entities into timely, GAAP‑compliant financials
Manage the accounting close process—including intercompany and consolidation activities—by preparing and reviewing journal entries and reconciliations
Conduct flux analyses and ensure the close is completed on time
Drive system implementations such as a new ERP system (e.g., NetSuite) and a close-tracking tool
Lead process improvements to streamline the close and build scalable, scalable solutions that support business growth
Support external audits and ensure compliance with internal controls
Prepare supporting documentation for various tax filings and take ownership of assigned regulatory reporting tasks
Drive the accounting memo process by conducting technical accounting research
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
CPA (active) strongly preferred
Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred
Minimum 6 years of progressive accounting experience, including loan accounting
Experience with securitizations, fund accounting, and/or fintech environments is a plus
Hands-on system implementation experience from RFP through go-live
Prior experience with NetSuite and/or Xero preferred
Familiarity with BI tools and working knowledge of SQL a plus
Strong knowledge of US GAAP including revenue recognition (ASC 606), servicing and transfers (ASC 860), consolidations (ASC 810), fair value option (ASC 825), and equity or equity-linked instruments (ASC 480)
