About the role

  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, code samples, and tutorials that demonstrate best practices for implementing Verify, Identity Insights, and other network API integrations
  • Host webinars, workshops, and hackathons to educate developers on building secure authentication flows, implementing fraud detection, and leveraging carrier network data
  • Develop and maintain tools that help keep API documentation current, including automated testing of code samples and integration examples
  • Design and contribute to SDKs and developer tools that simplify integration of network APIs across multiple platforms and programming languages
  • Gather and analyze developer feedback to identify opportunities for API improvements, better developer experiences, and new network-powered features
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Support teams to ensure tooling aligns with platform capabilities, security requirements, and developer needs

Requirements

  • Strong software development experience with expertise in authentication, identity verification, or security-related technologies
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages relevant to both server-side and client-side development
  • Experience with API design, implementation, and RESTful web services
  • Understanding of authentication flows, security best practices, and fraud prevention concepts
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a remote environment.
  • Previous Developer Experience, Developer Relations or Developer Advocacy experience (considered a plus)
  • Understanding of telecom networks, carrier APIs, and mobile network infrastructure (considered a plus)
  • Experience with authentication protocols (OAuth, OIDC, SAML) and multi-factor authentication (considered a plus)
  • Familiarity with fraud detection, risk scoring, and identity verification solutions (considered a plus)
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages commonly used for tooling and server-side development (considered a plus)
  • Familiarity with cloud communication platforms (CPaaS), Network APIs, and Vonage APIs (considered a plus)
  • Background in creating developer documentation and technical content (considered a plus)
  • Experience with SDK development and maintenance across multiple platforms (considered a plus)
